How nostalgia
A childhood memory brought Amadeus to Gut Aiderbichl
From the perspective of Gut Aiderbichl
(written by Gisela Pschenitschnig)
Immt was the wish of Michael Aufhauser beenthe philosophy of Gut Aiderbichl philosophy and to spread it in the hearts of the anchor in the hearts of the people. How nice it is now that the visit to Gut Aiderbichlwhich took place many years ago saved the life of the dwarf Amadeus. has saved.
"... When I was a child, we took a trip to your place. You have so many animals with special features ... Do you possibly have a place for Amadeus?"
Amadeus is now 14 months old. At the age of three months he was bought from a dairy farmer by his people. He should be able to grow up to a proud and happy young cow in their cattle herd. Unfortunately, the young bull calf was found to have a genetic defect. Amadeus is small in stature, but he was doing well so far.
The mother cow herd did not accept him because the animals instinctively sensed that Amadeus was different. So the little bull calf had to be kept alone because the cows could have tried to attack him. Amadeus' isolated life was not a solution either, because cattle need social contact.
So the request came to Gut Aiderbichl. Amadeu's owner remembered her childhood and a visit to Gut Aiderbichl, and how she had learned then that animals with impairments also have a right to life.
Amadeus is used to people
Our animal keepers knew what the small-sized Cattle Amadeus needed: proper nutrition, care, perception and lots of petting. Amadeus is very people-oriented. He was raised by his humans with the bottle, he is used to the halter and most importantly, he seems happy to us.
Before Amadeus, little Fipsi, Pamplono or Benny and Lilliput, and some other animals more, already lived at Gut Aiderbichl, and their disabilities never bothered the animals themselves or the people who visit Gut Aiderbichl.
They were as they were, and, they are as they are: Animals who have a right to their lives. Small cattle may not live as long as healthy cattle, but they all have one thing in common: they love life.
Frastanz - Edlach an der Rax - about 700 km separated the fate of Amadeus and Resi
they should come together
Resi, from Frastanz in Vorarlberg, is also a Fleckvieh, and is 11 days older than Amadeus and was born on samethe same day as Amadeuswho was born in Edlach an der Rax at home.
Resi is also small in stature and was able to be last summer with with her four cow-friends to the alpine pasture. Resi would not have survived the stay on the alp, but at the farm she could stay on the farm either. Dhe fate directed her way to Gut Aiderbichl.
Amadeus and Resi - a story like from 1001 nights
Amadeus and Resi nestle together in the straw. When Amadeus is outside, Resi follows right behind. They may feel that they are simply allowed to be as nature has created them: with a genetic defect, to be sure, but with a zest for life.
You can now laugh out loud and shake your head, or simply agree that cattle are very social animals. Cattle - like many other animal species - can cry, be sad or in a good mood.
It is precisely their weaknesses that make them endearing
The Vision of the Aiderbichler is a world in which all living beings live together in absolute harmony. This can only happen if we build on cohesion as well as tolerance, and are prepared to help all living beings, whether human or animal. - whether human or animal - without without prejudice. Animals - just like us humans - can can be affected by a physical as well as a psychological handicap. Animals have the right to a full life. This also includes impaired animals.
It is beautiful, Aiderbichler to be!
Sincerely, your Gisela
Every living being, including an animal with a disability, has a right to life. If it is possible without pain, suffering and agony, this right must not be taken away.
