An animal lover contacted us via WhatsApp. Already for several years she accompanied a Bavarian warmblood named Carthago. Together they went through thick and thin. The animal lover described to us that the owner wanted to have her gelding put to sleep. But all this had a serious background: The owner was simply no longer able to pay for his treatment costs for his injured leg, stable rent and care. The animal lover finally made it her mission to save his life and find a new place for him. The animal lover asked us to take in her best friend.
