When we heard from a little tamer that her dream of the big show in the ring had just been shattered, we asked ourselves whether this kind of entertainment is needed at all. Especially for so-called escape animals, a life in the ring is associated with pressure, stress and coercion. We have often taken horses from the circus and in every single case we had to realise that it had not done them any good. The young girl was very attached to her charges. But since the new circus act had not brought the hoped-for success, she had to part with the animals. It was clear what this would have meant for the ponies: there were simply too many ponies at the horse markets. We bought the "7 Dwarfs" free and brought them to us at Gut Aiderbichl. The little girl welcomed us with a beaming smile. She knows that nothing will happen to her ponies at Gut Aiderbichl and that they will be allowed to stay until the natural end of their lives. She was allowed to perform the tricks she had practised with her charges one last time before the seven started their new lives.
