Our pot-bellied lady pig Frieda at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf unexpectedly became a mommy. Colleagues had discovered the little surprises during a morning inspection. The culprit could only have been one: Pot-bellied pig Eber Dennis. The little cheeky badger has been living at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf since December 2019. When he was taken in, it was confirmed to us by a vet that Dennis would be castrated. This was one of the criteria for admission. However, as it turned out after a follow-up inspection, this was not the case. Dennis had so called "slip testicles" (the testicles are located in the abdominal cavity and cannot be seen from the outside) and was therefore still fertile. Nevertheless, we are happy to have Pamina with us.
