As a carriage horse, Vera could be found at weddings, carnival parades or harvest festivals. For 18 years, the ambitious and always reliable mare mastered every task that was set for her. Among other things, she was used as a tree-feeding horse. For her owner, Vera was like a member of the family and saying goodbye to the Norik mare was visibly difficult for him. Due to arthrosis in her carpal joint, Vera could no longer withstand the strain in front of the carriage. That is why she can enjoy her retirement at Gut Aiderbichl Henndorf. At over 20 years of age, she has well and truly earned her retirement.
