Mixed breed dog Hexi mixes everyone up

Hexi is about seven and a half years old and is a Havanese mixed breed female. The coat of our little Hexi is brown-black with white paws, light facial and muzzle hair. Hexi was confiscated because the elderly owner was more and more overwhelmed with his little bitch.

When man gets on in years ...

Older people often have only one friend left: their pet. Be it a cat, a parrot or a budgie, or, an adorable dog, like Hexi.

The owner was over 80 years old and the care, walking and of course playing with Hexi became more and more difficult. So it came unfortunately to the confiscation of the bitch. Hexi started her journey to her new forever home at Gut Aiderbichl in Henndorf.

Do dogs miss their masters and mistresses?

Again and again, dogs from animal safeguards, abandoned dogs or dogs given away for whatever reason arrive at Gut Aiderbichl. Each furry nose brings its own life story with it. Most of them have one thing in common: they lived with a person who once took them in, loved and cared for them until fate turned the wheel.

The Aiderbichler dog caretakers are very familiar with the body language of four-legged friends. Hexi was a bit calmer the first time and probably thought about her master. More and more her barking shows what she wants, then barking. She is a small, but very self-confident bitch. Hexi certainly loved her master - whether she misses him, she will not tell us.

Hexi's best furry friend is Neema

Neema came to Henndorf in the course of the Romanian stray project. She has paralyzed hind legs and enjoys her "dog-porsche" to get around. Fast as the wind, she ran across the yard with her Archie, who passed away a few weeks ago. After he never came home from the vet clinic, we had a very sad Neema. Every day she looked for him in the yard. Maybe he was just lost - but Archie will not come again.

Hexi's zest for life also brought Neema back to her usual zest. Together they now run around the yard with the groomer and enjoy their walks. Maybe two friends for life have found each other here.
A second great friend of Neema's is the play ball. Often Hexi wants to be faster than the rolling ball - these are moments when Hexi is just happy.

Animals cannot write the word love, but they can show it wonderfully. "That the dog is the dearest to me, you say, O man, is sin?". The dog remained faithful to me in the storm, the man not even in the wind.
