Snow and Daenarys

Two siblings seek happiness

Cat siblings in search of a new home

Dogs and cats are the most popular pets in Europe. They make people feel loved and needed. For older people, pets are sometimes the only thing that makes their daily routine fulfilling and interesting. Animals make people more active, sleep better and less likely to suffer from depression. It has been proven that petting animals lowers blood pressure. It makes you relax and give yourself completely to your cat or dog.

Where to put the two
cuddly tigers

An elderly man with a heart condition wrote us a sad email stating that he had to undergo heart surgery and therefore his two cats Snow and Daenarys needed a new home.
The two beautiful cats were probably also the only thing that still gave him joy. He didn't know anyone who could take care of his animals during his hospital stay and afterwards. So he turned to Gut Aiderbichl and asked for help for his velvet paws. We were able to agree to take them in. Our animal rescuers picked up the two delicate, shy purring tigers and their owner was able to undergo the important heart surgery - at least as far as his animals were concerned - without any worries.

The infinite loop

Gut Aiderbichl receives calls or emails in which mainly older people regret having to give up their animals: An operation calls them to hospital, general illness makes it impossible to walk the dog, etc. Often it is also the case that family members cannot take over the dog or cat, and so the task is to find a new home for the animal. Euthanasia must not be an option.

Patience and love are the way

The vet has confirmed that Snow and Daenarys are in good health and they have now received all the necessary vaccinations.
Snow and Daenarys have settled in well and are slowly and gently being acclimatised with the resident cats.
Snow is still a little shy, while Daenarys has a very perky personality. Both have snow-white fur with a grey tinge to their heads. Beautiful cat eyes tell, ask and observe.

They are not yet used to the fact that every now and then an animal keeper comes and the two newcomers shoo, shoo and hide. Only in the evening, when it gets quieter and the lights slowly go out, they come out of their shelter. Daenarys is already very brave and cuddles more and more often with the keeper. Snow is still waiting for Daenarys to tell her how it feels to cuddle with humans.

For sure, the two pretty tomcats remember their owner.

Time spent with cats is never time lost. - Sigmund Freud

Two siblings are looking for you!

They were his best friends for several years and enriched his life. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye due to health reasons, but as we know, animals don't forget anything or anyone. Perhaps Snow and Daenarys will find loving people who would like to have them with them?
