Snow, Arlo and Spot
Three velvet paws to fall in love with
From the perspective of Gut Aiderbichl
(written by Gisela Pschenitschnig)
Four kittens were born at a cat foster home at Gut Aiderbichl:
Snow, Arlo, Spot and Libby (already spoken for).
The beautiful velvet paws were born at the Gut Aiderbichl home farm in Maria Schmolln from where they will be placed with people who love animals.
The cat project at Gut Aiderbichl
Around 912 rescued cats live on all of Gut Aiderbichl's farms. These are abandoned cats, stray cats, cats that have caused trouble in the neighborhood by wandering around, cats whose owners have died and cats that have been rescued from the war zone in Ukraine.
All Aiderbichler cat rooms are designed and furnished as if it were a living room in a loved one's home. Countless cat baskets, beds and litter trays are available for the velvet paws.
In the country castle of Gut Aiderbichl France, the rescued cats lead a life like - in the truest sense of the word - God in France. It is not wine that is stored in the old cellar of the building, but the Aiderbichl cats live here. Countless cozy cat beds and feeding places signal to the animals: you are at home here, and you should feel at home here. When the weather is nice, you can meet the Schnurretigers on the old, venerable stone steps, surrounded by rose bushes that provide shade and are also good if you want to feel a little undisturbed as a cat.
At Gut Aiderbichl in Romania, we are ambitiously pursuing the goal of proving to the population that the population of stray cats (as well as dogs) can only be brought under control by neutering the animals. We neuter the cats and the owners can then take them home again.
A study that I haven't been able to get out of my head for years shows that, based on a mother cat and all her female offspring that are not neutered, the following happens after around 7 years: around 80,000 cats are born within a cat family that has not been neutered. We all know how many people dispose of many animals immediately after birth. Neutering is an essential birth control measure for dogs and cats.
There is a lot to do
Persuasion and consistent continuation
Our beautiful cats Arlo (male), Spot (male) and Snow (female) are looking for a loving home. With people who respect them and want to spoil them. Sister Libby now lives with animal-loving people and has found a very good home with her humans.
It would be great if Arlo, Spot and Snow - each around 4 months old - could also find a cozy home.
If you are interested in Arlo, Spot and/or Snow, please get in touch with our tiervermittlung@gut-aiderbichl.com
If we help together, many things are easier.
Yours sincerely,
Your Gisela
