Dog Mogli

He misses his mistress

Mogli means "wild child", which reflects the personality of the main character from the story "The Jungle Book" very well. This is another reason why pet owners like to use Mogli for their small, wild, playful four-legged friends.
The white poodle mix Mogli was one of the new admissions right in the first week of January 2022. Since then, he has been living together with his new dog friends in a dog room in Henndorf.
His owner passed away, leaving behind a deeply saddened Mogli who had just turned four years old. From then on, he lived with the neighbour, but the neighbour's two cats did not get along with him.

Tomorrow everything can be different

Misfortune and death are part of life. If you are the owner of one or more pets, you have taken responsibility for living beings that are in need of protection. Even before Gut Aiderbichl was founded, Michael Aufhauser was thinking about the future of animals in the event of a disaster. At some point, when thousands of animals had already found a new home at Gut Aiderbichl, the idea of protection came to the fore again. In an emergency, animals must find a loving home and be professionally cared for. That was the basic idea behind Aiderbichl's animal insurance.

Gut Aiderbichl animal protection obtains information from the owners about the animals' habits. The funding provided is used trustingly for the animals' quality of life. The aim of the animal insurance is to take in the animals after the owner's death and to treat them as if they were one's own. Thus, provision is followed by care - with the nest warmth of home.
With or without impairments, any animal can be taken in for animal protection and will be lovingly cared for by our animal carers. Just as we are doing now with Mogli.

Mogli's new home

Mogli was very sad and withdrawn at the beginning. His mistress was no longer there and now loud new people and other dogs. Once again, our groomers knew what to do. Mogli had to arrive psychologically, no treat can drive away sadness. A lot of love, patience and time now help Mogli to find his activities and the joy of life again.

Outside at the dog path or on walks with his friends, dog life is cool. Mogli is also really brave - all the donkeys, the goats and geese or even pigs don't cause him any problems or even fear. However, as soon as he is back in the dog room and resting, he probably lacks the distraction of the thought that his mistress is no longer with him and caressing him. As with humans, you have to allow animals to grieve. This is the only way to let go.

In the meantime, he is overjoyed when his keepers come to feed him, play with him or simply cuddle him. Mogli doesn't even want to let them go. The closeness to humans is becoming important to him and he enjoys the attention he gets again.
