Cat Lou
A lively whirlwind
Little Lou loves everyone
Little Lou is a delightful Siberian forest cat. At nine months old, she is the youngest resident of Gut Aiderbichl Traisen, an Aiderbichl outdoor farm for mainly advanced age or also sick, disabled cats. Lou has had a stubby tail since birth and was given away by the breeder to people who love animals. However, there was a catch: Lou was not only given away because of her stubby tail, but especially because of her incontinence.
Lou should be mediated
Lou was surrendered to a vet. The diagnosis showed that she had a congenital paralysis of the bladder and will remain incontinent as long as she lives. With a lot of love and commitment, the vet's team looked after little Lou. She was now living in the vet's practice and was to be placed. The problem was, however, that nobody wanted the incontinent cat. So Lou was now living in the day room of the veterinary practice, which of course could not be a solution in the long run. A long-time Aiderbichl sponsor took Lou into her heart and contacted Dieter Ehrengruber, who immediately promised Lou a new home. The vet and her team as well as the sponsor were happy to have found a good solution for Lou.
Everybody loves Lou
The beautiful Siberian Forest Cat conquered the hearts of the animal keepers in no time. She is the youngest cat in the "senior cat home" in Traisen. Here, everything is geared towards the care of high-maintenance cats. Every day, Lou's genital area has to be washed and creamed because she loses her urine uncontrollably.
Lou takes everything very calmly. She is lively, very cuddly and her young age brings a lot of energy and verve to the cat enclosure in Traisen. She is uncomplicated and is loved and appreciated by everyone: the dogs, the cats and the humans.
