Police horse Attila
In deserved civil service pension
The service of the police horse Attila is coming to a very special end. The "old hand" is leaving the equestrian squad of the Munich police after 15 years of service. Police Captain Michael Held wrote us an email saying that unfortunately he had to part with his long-time companion. Attila was a very reliable horse and nothing could upset him. But due to a chronic lameness caused by a tendon disease, the warmblood can unfortunately no longer be used as a police horse. So Mr Held was looking for a nice boarding place for his beloved 19-year-old gelding Württemberger Warmblood. After his 15 years of service with the police in Munich, Attila deserves to be able to enjoy his retirement in a horse-friendly way.
A dream team unites
Dieter Ehrengruber agreed to take Attila in and Attila was soon to move to Gut Aiderbichl Iffedorf. His old "colleague" Freddy was already waiting there full of joy. Freddy was also a police horse and has been living at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf for about 1 year. Now, the two can enjoy their retirement together. A total of 8 former police horses currently live on the farms of Gut Aiderbichl.
Attila and Freddy are currently enjoying the snowy pastures at Gut Aiderbichl Iffeldorf. They are a good team and are eagerly waiting for you to come and visit them again. A funny detail on the side: Besides Freddy, Attila is particularly fond of donkeys. As soon as he sees a donkey, he starts whinnying and wants to jump up to it immediately. That's what you call donkey love at first sight...
