Timo the dog

Just before everything goes off the rails
Timo's eyes are kind and ask "What's next?"

From the perspective of Gut Aiderbichl

(written by Gisela Pschenitschnig)

A very animal-loving woman turned to Gut Aiderbichl's animal emergency center in Henndorf with loving but desperate words.
Timo the dog lived with her elderly parents, his father had died and his mother was unable to cope with Timo's needs. A catastrophe brought Timo to her daughter, but she has now reached the end of her tether.

Look and help - Timo now lives at Gut Aiderbichl in Iffeldorf.

Timo

A Labrador crossbreed at 13 years old

Timo spent his time with a couple aged 80 and 84. When the Labrador mix came to his owners, he was around five years old. The family situation was probably not easy - help from the elderly parents was not accepted.

His master has now passed away and his mistress would not let anyone help her. Giving Timo away was absolutely out of the question for her. Timo no longer had regular walks. Any help was refused.

One day, the desperate daughter found her mother in the apartment in a catastrophic situation. She was lying on the floor. Timo was lying faithfully next to his mistress. It was not possible to say how long this heartbreaking situation had lasted. Timo's mistress had broken her femoral neck and had to be treated for a long time.

Timo's life should become more species-appropriate

Timo's new owner didn't have the heart to give up her protégé to an animal shelter. What he would have gone through, having first lost his master and now his mistress too, and having entered a whole new phase of his life.

Timo was first taken to the vet. Due to poor nutrition, Timo suffers from digestive problems, hypothyroidism, heart problems and osteoarthritis.

The family tried to be there for Timo, but they are all fully occupied with their jobs. But there is no way back to the old mistress.

"Please make it possible for Timo to spend his perhaps not so long time in dignity and love ..."

A good solution had to be found for Timo as quickly and as stress-free as possible. Dieter Ehrengruber and his team found a good place for Timo. Timo now lives in peace and contentment in the animal living room at Gut Aiderbichl in Iffeldorf. Everything is being done here to ensure that there is room for many more good people and animal friends in his life.

We must not condemn

The owners certainly loved their Timo, perhaps he was also their best friend in life.
It takes a little time to learn to understand things and circumstances - but it is the diplomatic and better way not to judge.

Timo's life has now taken a turn for the better and we will try to give him a great, exciting life.

You can only see well with your heart. The essentials are invisible to the eyes.

~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Timo immediately won our hearts and we will do everything we can to make him feel at home.

Yours sincerely,
Your Gisela
