Daisy the cat

An animal emergency that had a happy ending

Daisy, an eleven-year-old cat, became an animal emergency when her elderly owner was terminally ill with cancer and passed away. In the family the beautiful, three-coloredcat unfortunately not stay in the family because the daughter herself has to look after elderly and sometimes sick cats herself. The additional admission of Daisy cats already living in the household would already living in the household overburden them.

"Unfortunately, my mother has become a nursing case ..."

A touching e-mail reached the animal emergency center of Gut Aiderbichl. It is always Gut Aiderbichl's aim to help the weak. By helping the animals out of various sad situations, we also support their people.

The daughter tells us that her mother had taken in a young cat against her well-intentioned advice. Daisy was everything to the old woman, who was 92 years old, suffering from cancer and dying.
Some time ago, the old lady moved into an apartment in a retirement home with her beloved Daisy. It soon became apparent that her mother's condition was deteriorating and her daughter lovingly cared for Daisy. Taking Daisy from her mother was not an option.
The incurable disease confined her mother to her bed and her state of health no longer allowed any therapy. Daisy's owner passed away, and now the cat had to leave the apartment in the retirement home.

Daisy should go to an animal shelter - She was spared this fate

Every animal emergency is different when it comes to the plight and fate of animals. Gut Aiderbichl was able to help, and Daisy has been living in the cat living room at the Begegnungshof in Henndorf for a few weeks now.

She has settled in well. When Daisy sometimes finds everything a little too much, she clambers up a little higher onto a lounger in the cat living room. She can then observe the situation from above, and you get the impression that she likes the hustle and bustle on the one hand and the important peace and quiet in the cat living room on the other.

Daisy loves cuddling in her bed in the sun. I wonder what she dreams about?
Daisy trusts people, but she realizes that she is no longer with her owner. Her life situation has changed. We think that Daisy is quite content and happy in her new forever home.

If you are looking for Daisy, she likes to stay in the front row of the pink bed.

Animals are free beings. They freely offer us their love ... their friendship ... their help ... their trust. We can learn a lot from them if we start to see all the things they have over us. - Sylvia Raßloff
