Bonjour

I am Naomi

When Naomi was found, she was only a few weeks old. An older, animal-loving lady found her helplessly next to the dead cat mom.
The lady took the little kitten with her, and brought her to Gut Aiderbichl France at Moulin.

The suffering of little Naomi

Was Naomi's mom hit by a car? Mama hit by a car or why was she dead? Naomi can't tell us.
Meanwhile, in the old, cozy cellar of the country chateau in Moulin, Naomi has asome cozy place for herself. The veterinary examination did not reveal any health problems - nothing stands in the way of a healthy growing up. Naomi has found a place in a big cat family., and obviously enjoys the environment at Gut Aiderbichl at Moulin. Sometimes she is brave, and also walks to the horses and donkeys - but carefully, and always with enough distance to the big animals.

Naomi learns quickly from the "big ones

A great friend of little Naomi is Oreo, one of the 70 cats at the estate. Oreo lives since for six years in the oldcountry chateau near Moulin. At the gates of Gut Aiderbichl stood a lady with a cardboard box in her hands. In the box mewed jämmerlist a mother cat and her four babies. The lady said that the cats are not her own. She wanted to give them away. If we would not take them in, she would "know another way" to "get rid of them". We were immediately awarewhat to do was. Dieter Ehrengruber gave a quick "OK" to take in the cat family. Oreo has become a very handsome, happy cat who enjoys his life to the fullest.

How does man "get rid" of animals he does not want?

The uncontrolled reproduction of cats is associated with great animal suffering. If the animals can reproduce unhindered, enormous populations quickly form in a confined space, which can lead to hygiene problems and the spread of diseases. Unwanted cat offspring are not infrequently surrendered to animal shelters or abandoned because the expense for the animal owner becomes too great. Especially in rural areas, kittens are sometimes still drowned or killed in other cruel ways. Which is the way to treat animal life respectfully?
Neutering is the only way to stop the multiple reproduction of our dearest pets. Did you know that over 80,000 cats are born from one cat family in eight years if the animals are not neutered?

A heartfelt thank you to the lady who rescued little Naomi from her sad situation, and whose path led her straight to Gut Aiderbichl to know little Naomi was safe.

(...) when hearts close, love dies and then the memory of everything worth living fades.
